Gemma Nelson
Gemma has been playing hockey for 15 years now, at Owls for 11 years....she followed older sister Angela to the club. One half of the Nelson/Mann sisterhood :-)
Gemma's claim to fame is joining Owls the same training night as Gemma D many many moons ago!
As another of our versatile players she has played everywhere and anywhere, more recently to be found in the defence.
Gemma has been 2nd XI and 1st XI Captain in past seasons.
One memory sticks out about Owls for Gemma.... the naughty girls of the 2's leading her astray in Letterkenny/Raphoe about 9 years ago, not good when you have to be put to bed !!!
